I recently bought cedar fence boards there. I got a quote from their website, asked a couple of questions via email to which I received prompt answers and placed the order from my computer. The order was at the counter when I got there. It was filled shortly by very capable yard personnel. A week later I returned five of the boards that weren't usable and picked up five good ones. The fence looks great and my experience with Parr Lumber was excellent!
Helpful staff and relatively reasonable prices. Hours are more geared toward contractors than DIYers.
Consistently disappointed. I've visited about 10 times, hoping I keep just getting the 'bad employee' since they're so close to my house. Having worked in a hardware store, I really despise being treated like I'm unrealistic/crazy for asking if they have something (after looking).
