What I appreciated about taking my car here was the honest advice I got after diagnosing the problems my car was having. The mechanic who looked at my car didn't pressure me to get the work done in his shop or pressure me to spend a lot of money, instead he educated me about the problem and gave me several options about how to get it fixed.
They charge $906/hour. A friend's daughter's car was acting up. These "mechanics" checked it out with a scanner and said it was a bad coil pack and it would cost about $1,150 to fix. I looked the parts up online and found out they were $229 (for all 8 cylinders) and another $15 for plugs. It took me less than an hour to replace all plugs and coils. That's $906/ hour they would have charged!?! On top of that they charged $130 just to hook it up to the diagnostic machine (OBD),which is free at an auto parts store. I understand that businesses in PDX have high overhead and have no problem with businesses making a profit but $906/hour is absurd. You've been warned. All I ask is that you check online prices before you have them work you OR your car over.
Professionals, highly recommended work. They are direct, no extra hidden charges and they deliver fast if they can't they will tell you right away.
