Was pretty dead when I was there but the staff were supet helpfull without being pushy. This means alot in a retail store.
This place is awesome! Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. Family owned. Great African cichlids. Good selection of other types of fish as well. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. If you are into fish this place is a must!
I absolutely love this locally owned aquarium and fish store. The owners are legitimate in their expertise and have many solid, regularly visiting satisfied customers like myself. Excellent products and excellent fish. I will only give my business to them, they've helped me and my other friends out countlessly throughout the years! I hope they stick around and survive through the Portland growth boom going on affecting small business.
Knowledgeable, proficient and very caring staff. Get all my fish and plants there. Tell them what you want and they'll tell you what will work. They won't sell you incompatible species without giving you a disclaimer and recommending a better match. Not about just making a buck but about a true passion for what they do. Would give six stars if I were able to.
