one of the most incredible places in the area. i explored here much as a youth. my neighborhood park. fantastic trails and trees
Wonderful dog friendly trails. Lots of up and down hill though .... uneven trails .... but it's beautiful. I'm on a cane and some trails were too much for me.
The Nature Center was staffed with friendly and helpful volunteers and lots of hands-on activities for smaller kiddos.
Beautiful nature area with mutiple bridges (even a suspension one!) located in the portland area. There are multiple trails to take ranging from easy to medium level in my opinion. If you're looking for a spot out in the forest away from the hustle and bustle of the city without having to drive far, this is it. As a bonus, this is a pet friendly place with trails designated for horses.
This was a great, low key and beautiful hike through a really amazing natural area. All shady even on a hot summer's day. Ideal for a seasoned hiker to move through quickly, or someone trying to keep small children entertained.
Excellent escape to the woods without leaving the city! Trails are well easy to traverse and well maintained.
