Great walking trails through the trees. Also excellent bike ride to the top if you start in Downtown Portland. Get ready for a solid climb, but its worth it for the nice views at the top.
Try and leave the place better than you found it.
PS: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
AMAZING!!! but to make sure it is a Clear Day. That way you'll be able to see all that you can see from up there.
Good hiking trails, but again please respect the land. Do not leave your aluminum cans on the forest floor, or leave any trash behind.
The highest point within Portland city limits. It has a good view and nice grassy areas. There are a number of trails that will lead you to this park. There are water fountains but no bathrooms. I saw some honeybuckets on my last visit Oct 2017 but i am not sure if these are gonna be around for the winter.
also the "ocean view" I'm not sure if I just didn't get it but didn't see any water from up there.
Walked up to the Park while completing The Four T Trail. You can see all the way to Washington and Mt Rainer on one side to past Hillsboro on the other side. A bit cloudy when I went so the mountains were covered, but an awesome view nonetheless.
Epic views, but please respect the common areas by keeping your dog's leashed until they are in the no leash zone. Pick up after your cute pupper there are normally bags by the off leash area. Also, the park *does* close! If you leave a car parked there it will be stuck behind a locked gate until the park opens in the morning.
