I didn't grow up in an Ikea household, so I don't get as excited here. The store has a great selection of basically everything you'd ever need for your house. There are many lines for checkout and a large parking lot to accommodate. The cafe is very large and I've never had an issue waiting for food or getting a table to sit.
It can be a fun day out for my husband and I to walk this store. I wouldn't eat there based on my own experiences at the restaurant but lots of people are fans of the meatballs. You might have better luck than me! Wear comfy shoes!
Having gone without an IKEA nearby previously, it truly is an experience to finally be able to shop here again. Great prices, good overall build quality and a huge selection. I like being able to match all aspects of a room if necessary, and the color options are decent. Some items may be difficult to find, but once you get the hang of how the place works it's not too much of a hassle. Checkout lines move quickly and the return policy is fair.
Always enjoy my time here. I do wish they had more staff on the floors answering people's questions. When you do find them, they are very knowledgeable. You can grab a quick snack here, and also construct a pretty decent lunch that won't break the bank. I do wish they would come out with some new tall dinning room tables.
IKEA is a great place for inexpensive furniture, if you don't mind assembling it. I find the instructions are clear and once you put together your first piece, it's easier to put together other pieces. There is a lot of furniture and household items are are great for small spaces. IKEA is a king on designing storage spaces. However, most of the pieces are not meant to pass along to future generations - they do the job for the price you pay. It's great if you are on a budget! Oh, I LOVE to visit their cafe - for the price, I find their food very tasty and you can find healthy items there. Join the family club and get discounts as well as FREE coffee/tea every visit!
