I chose Dr. Brown because his office is on Stark st. and winter is coming. You should choose Dr. Brown because of his staff. The receptionist remembers and greets everyone by name with the up most sense of hospitality. Dr. Brown's nurse, Dina, is amazing. She distracted me with great conversation to keep my mind off things during surgeries. Finally, Dr. Brown. He did as much as he could for me during each visit, including a couple minor surgeries that we hadn't planned on. He could have easily had me make multiple new appointments which could have led to higher costs. His bedside manner was spot on. He is "old school.' His attittude and approach was authoritative, but when it came time to tell me possibly devastating news, he was sensitive and told me a story from his personal life, really reaching out to me during a scary time.
I'd recommend Dr. Brown time and time again.
Dr Brown is an incredible dermatologist who really knows his stuff and he is known throughout Portland for being one of the best; his advice from a single appointment has sustained me for years and been truly effective, to the point that I call him every few months just to thank him again! Dr Brown has a blunt and direct (and in my view, hilarious) personality, as his talents are in fixing the problem quickly when other professionals cannot.

Well lets just say Dr. Brown is a weirdo! LOL. My experience was about 5 years ago , clearly I haven't forgotten. He will be the first to insult you whenever there is an opportunity, i asked about a procedure regarding a break out he asked "How old are you?" I told him , his answer was you are too old! It was kinda funny but I don't think he was joking. I had a cyst removed he left some of the stitches, it was unfortunate I had to make another visit he still left some in the second go, they are still there, I will never go back there. From time to time I think of Dr. Brown, sadly.
The worst experience wth a doctor ever. No bedside manner. Very unprofessional. Just gets up and walk out of the room without saying anything. Barely said 10 words to me. I don't recommend at all. He should retire. According to his assistant, "he's always like that". And, "his Lexus wouldn't start yesterday so he's upset". Are you kidding me? 2 different people in the office mentioned his car trouble, like I should feel bad for him or like it was an excuse for his behavior. Not to mention, he was given the wrong chart and was talking to me about things that I wasn't even in there for... unbelievable. If he would have addressed me by name with even a little respect, he would have found out without embarrassing himself trying to treat me for something I don't have and wasn't in there for. He didn't even want to look at the incicion site to see if it was healing well. Horrible.
