The place itself is a little sad and old, but that seems to be the current state of all shopping malls.
It is a standard suburban shopping center with a large Fred Meyer's grocery store as an an anchor store, several other types of clothing shops, including a ROSS, and another women's clothing store for sizes 12 and above that I would like to check out more. It is located right off two main freeways and 4 very busy main roads. The Gateway transit center for MAX, busses, and the new bus to the gorge all stop there, as well as 2 Major medical office buildings: the Oregon clinic and Providence Medical Group Gateway, with urgent and primary care offices. Extremely easy for physically impaired to get around the entire area.
Showing its age a bit, with Fred Meyer still holding down the main focus. This center has been around since my youth (late 50's & early 60's), and has been remodeled several times, but has managed to keep being relavent.
Has a good variety of anchor stores. Freddie's, Ross, Star Bucks, Restaurants, Nail Salon. Plenty of parking. Easy wheelchair access. Max station.
There isn't anything spectacular about this shopping center. It has a few outlets that are otherwise far away, a good number of shops, and ample parking. It's also near several metro routes if you can't get there by car.
Not a bad place, in fact it is so appealing that I find myself window shopping more than I anticipated. I enjoy the atmosphere & people around.
