They shouldn't expect customers to read those signs, and they shouldn't assume that they have read that sign. Going through the food during an order and saying if they want something and they when the item is ringed up they find out that the item costs more is a dick move. This place has the most idiot employees.
Busy location catering toward the PSU students in the area. The staff are primarily students themselves so give them a break on that. But this being said I have had mixed experiences in this specific location. One day they are great, the next they can't remember what goes into a veggie burrito. Guacamole is like 2 extra dollars for a tinny scoop. Milking all the poor students for their last penny.
I've worked for retail, and one of the most important concepts that I was thought was to never assume anything. But these idiots assume.
Average Mexican food. Quick service and the people are friendly.
Most Chipotles we go to are great, but this Chipotle was not. When me and my wife showed up, the location was not busy. We stood at the end of the ordering counter for a few minutes without being acknowledged by a manager who looked like they were training a trainee. And, once we did get our burritos, we noticed that the restaurant (which was primarily empty) was very dirty. And, when we bit into our burritos, the rice was obviously undercooked and very hard to eat. Me and my wife like going to Chipotle for their good food and good service, but this visit showed us that this Chipotle is very low quality and should be avoided.
Service was awful. The people behind the counter look like they hated me from their guts. Portions are incredibly small (ordered a steak bowl, opened to find it's only half a bowl :O )
If you buy an item, prepare to be surprised by the price.
I ordered an item for $ 6.70. It ended up being 8.00 because I got queso. The employees said there was a sign that said that ordering queso was $ 1.30 more. When I walked into the store, I didn't put my mind into reading signs on their store. But they expected and assumed that I read that sign. They just assumed that I read it. They let me buy my item for $ 6.70 one time, but were rude and were talking behind my back about how I and other customers are expected to read those signs.
