The food was absolutely phenomenal. However, I felt that I was robbed. 108$ for three people got you wine in a plastic glass, olive oil from a paper plate, one ravioli per person, some noodles and small amount of meat. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of time it took to receive such a small amount of food. For those who would say that it's all about the "experience"......come on. Either the price per person needs to be lowered or the portions need to increase in size.
Probably my favorite Italian place in town. The pasta is to die for and there's live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Owner goes to Italy every year to learn new dishes and treat the rest if us to her travels. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend.
We had the $35/person family style dinner. It was delicious an very interesting. Best octopus I have ever had. A 2 hour feast.
Probably the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. There is such love in the preparation of the food and it shows. Rachael and Josh (and Ashley!) are all amazing and so knowledgeable. Great attention to detail and flavor. Highly recommend, but if you tend to get cold, bring a sweater because it's al fresco. Either way, you need to try this place!
What a gem of a place.
Artigiano is my favorite place to eat in all of Portland! A must if you're visiting. Well worth any extra effort. Tip: (Best option is doing the "Family Feast" with friends!)
