It is an okay place. The price was right for my 4-night stay. There are funky smells in room and hallway. Had to switch rooms because the first one smelled terrible. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The bed is comfortable. I probably won't stay here again, however.

Staff was very friendly. Original room was awkward and not in great condition, but was upgraded to accommodate poor Internet reception. New room was much nicer. Hotel in general was kind of rundown, but I chose it because it provided easy access to the Portland light rail downtown. Simple breakfast options were available, such as sliced bread & toaster, packaged pastries, apple juice and coffee, but there was no butter or jelly, no tea or other drink options, and no fruit, all of which would have been a nice addition. The price was very good, but I might have been willing to pay a little more for a nicer stay for that location. Room was clean, and people were very nice.

It's a $60 hotel. It could certainly be better. Breakfast is coffee, juice and a toaster. It's adjacent to a strip club and a dispensary. But it's really cheap, so the drugs and hookers aside (I watched one leave the neighboring room yesterday) is a place to sleep. Has wifi for what that's worth.

I needed a last minute hotel during the eclipse wespend for my son's wedding. Prices everywhere were outrageous. This was one of about three available that was affordable. It was clean and I needed a place to sleep. Would I stay here aagain? Probably not.

Im not one to leave reviews and often I read reviews thinking people are over exaggerating but I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. My brother and I checked in at 6:30pm to find the maid still in our room cleaning it from the previous guests. We waited in the hallway while she rushed to finish. She didn't vacuum and the carpet was covered in leftover food. Our bedding had stains and hair in it and when the maid left she sprayed a lot of air freshener that smelt like strong flowers so it was hard to breathe. We ended up checking out after about 20 minutes and went to a Comfort Inn down the street. It was much cleaner and they even price matched the Rodeway Hotel for our inconvenience. The Rodeway hotel would not refund me even after being on hold for over an hour with Choice Hotels. Definitely stay away from this hotel.
