My time here was excellent. Top notch professional health care facility. I would recommend them highly based on the excellent service and thoughtful way i was treated by literally every person. You know i also think its cool to see the sprawling campus just buzzing with students that are there to learn and will also become really good Doctors and Nurses and all others in the field of medicine. The whole place is electrifying with good medicine! The whole joint. Everywhere you go around here you can feel it. Nice work .All of you should be proud.thank you so much. Bob
I have been a patient of OHSU for 3 years and my many experiences with the institution (including the Emergency section) have been totally positive. The medical personnel are focused on the whole patient not just the disease or problem. Having worked as a lab tech at UCLA Medical School and Cedars-Sinai in LA, I especially appreciate the care I have been given.
I'll preface this by saying the nurses were very nice--no complaints there. However, despite two visits to the ER due to symptoms such as muscle numbness, full body soreness, inability to walk, slurred speech, difficulty breathing, heart palpitations, periods of severe confusion, severe headaches and abdominal pain and a variety of others, they kept turning me away and insisting I was imagining it due to stress. Moreoever, the "neurologist" who saw me (not listed on their website) was rude to me the entire time, talking over me while I described my symptoms and scolding me for not trying hard enough during the tests. Now I'm seeking Lyme Disease treatment. Stress indeed.
One of the worst hospitals I have been at. I don't know who this lady was or even what position she held. I do remember her name however ( Deanne) she was very rude and when we asked when our brother could get some water she had us do it. I asked her why she didn't do it. She said we could either wait or we could do it ourselves!!! I was like what???? Is this a joke? It's her job to help patient but, we the visitors had to do her job for her. He is in ICU and is that really how they treat patients here? Really? I did ask her if that isn't her job? Shouldn't she be doing this?
I submitted a signed medical records release 3 weeks ago. Kept calling and was told I would receive them shortly. Called again today and was told I would get them in 7 days. I have a to have cataract surgery ASAP. This is totally ridiculous. Glad I don't live in Oregon anymore. Don't go to them if u need help w ur eyes!!!!!!
