But what really makes Voicebox cool is the technology they've incorporated. You can make an account, make lists of favorite songs on it, and if you have a smart phone use that account to select your songs instead of the books. Its a really great touch. They also keep increasing their song catalog, and even accept customer requests.
Great experience to be had even if you're not the singing type. They could be slightly better organized and transparent, but the place is awesome for nearly any occasion or amount of people you're planning to have with you. Make reservations for sure.
It's a really great place and lots of fun. The thing I didn't like was I got charged twice. Once when I arrived and when I got my ticket at the end I was charged. Then I look on my ticket and I was being charged for the workers health insurance. That's something management needs to figure out not the customers
Karaoke even an introvert can love.
What makes Voicebox a stand-out for me is how fun the experience is from start to finish. You rent rooms by the hour, so its only you and your pals, not strangers hearing you sing. (Rooms can be booked ahead of time, but walk-ins are welcome to open rooms if they have any.) They have food options to suit a variety of tastes and requirements, and have great drinks. (Their Blossom cocktail is my favorite.) And there are fun lights (sort of a disco ball effect) you can turn on or off.
SUPER fun. Private Karaokee rooms. Good alcohol selection. Can be a a little pricey.
Had a lot of fun. Staff was friendly, but service was slow. Microphones were having issues, but we still had a great time.
