We came here looking for a specific car we had seen online, the salesman that helped us was amazing he was not your typical "car sales man" he asked us questions about our life and matched us up with a vehicle that worked best for our needs. The atmosphere is friendly, the employees are not pushy at all, they truly care about you and want to make sure you are taken care of. I can definitely recommend to anyone going here is the best.

Gage Auto was really good to us and easy to work with. Anthony and Jim made the whole experience stress free. I had worked out a plan over 45 days including 17 cars I wanted to look at all over the Portland area. This was the 2nd place we stopped. It was so easy that I didn't even want to look anywhere else.
Recently I saw a car that I liked online, but it had a list price of N/A, as they had just gotten it in and had not had a chance to go over it completely and price it out. I called to inquire about the price and ended up having a conversation with a salesman about what I was able to afford, did I have a trade, what's my salary, etc. I did however say in no uncertain terms that I did not want them to run my credit report before I had even been out to see the vehicle in person, and that I was NOT calling to apply for financing. I repeated myself more than once, not to pull my credit as I've been working to rebuild it, and didn't want any hard inquiries before I had even decided to apply for a loan. I was assured they wouldn't pull it and was even reassured with a response of "I'm a consumer too. I totally understand and I wouldn't my report hit either if I wasn't ready to make the deal." Next thing I know, my credit score dropped significantly in a matter of a week and I noticed four hard inquiries on my report from that day. One was from Gage and the other three were from lenders they had shopped me out to. I then received my first of 4 denial letters, stating that Gage had tried to finance me for more than $25k! This is well beyond my means and I never would have even considered a vehicle at that price. I'm still in the process of trying to get the inquiries removed from my report, and it's been a nightmare. I'm disappointed because my first experience with them years ago was so great. Sadly, I will never consider them an option when it comes time to shop for my next vehicle. They tell you one thing, but then do another. It's not right.
MICHAEL SONG! He did a wonderful job helping out a good friend of mine. I work in car sales myself but didn't have the right vehicle in-stock. I reached out to Michael to get some information on the car. Without even knowing I was in car sales he had an up-front and transparent approach about the vehicle and their process.
