It is a truly amazing cafe tucked away in NE Montavilla. If you are looking for a tasty slice of pie you found the right spot! The staff has always been attentive and kind and the coffee is always great. Definitely my favorite cafe in Portland.
Great coffee and the strawberry rhubarb pie was very good as well. The crust could be a little better, but overall good! Great setup and nice atmosphere!
Lovely place. The staff is kind and competent, and the atmosphere is on point. The coffee is great and the food is tasty. Seating can be a bit limited at peak times, so just realize this before you go.
LOVE their pies. If in season have some Strawberry Rhubarb. Haven't had a slice I didn't like. $5 down payment (returnable) on the tin if you buy a whole pie. Funky little Portland cafe with lots to look at on the wall.
The coffee is good, probably the best around here, but not great (wish they'd level-up the beans). Really good place to hang out at a small table and do work or meet a friend, though it does get crowded and noisy. Delicious quiche! Be warned that most of the staff is gruff, and they will forget your drink sometimes. Most but not all can make a cappuccino well.
