I came from out of town to NW Portland to a cafe to meet someone and parked in a lot for the Cafe and a couple of businesses. I didn't see any signage and assumed it was a parking lot for the businesses. When I came out, I had a ticket for the $5 parking (which I would have gladly paid if I had known) plus a $39 fine (which doubled if not paid in a certain time period). I was upset because I went to help someone and never expected Portland to be so unfriendly. I have tried twice to pay this online and keep getting an error message. I tried to call but apparently they weren't in the office during the normal business day. After reading the reviews (which were all bad...not a single good one), I realized I didn't want to mail in the payment and have them possibly unethically not post it until after the penalty date (which they have done before). So now I have to go into Portland again and go to their office so that I have proof that I paid it on time. Why is Portland allowing a company that is obviously unfair and possibly even unethical to operate in a place where tourists and people from out of town like me get such a bad taste in their mouth. If I could have put less than one star I would have. And right now I am giving the City of Portland a 1 star rating for allowing this to continue. They should put out a call in the city government for everyone who has had a problem with this company to contact them. Some obviously just got caught but I would suspect many more are righteously upset.

They've made a business out of charging you for their own failure to maintain parking meters. It's an amazing scam.

I am taking them straight to court! I refuse to pay for the ticket I got! It said failure to display receipt when 2 receipts on the same day which was today was right there! Then they said I have to clear my dash! I had things on my dashboard, and my receipts were visible, and never ticketed! I had no idea that my dashboard had to be completely cleared! I should have gotten a warning not a fine if that is the case!

Now the rental company is coming after me for a ticket I already paid.

I wish I could give these cancerous rates zero stars! I bought a parking pass I put it on my car and those disgusting abortions still gave me a ticket. The little weasel losers that work for this joke of a company, sneaking around just waiting to give you a ticket, they're less than the gunk that builds up between your toes after you haven' showered for 5 days. I literally show them no respect, if you ever see any of them spit on them, b!tch slap them, Treat them like a hoe, they're nothing ( I'm joking of course I don't condom violence) But still, they're disgusting losers, that deserve very little respect, if any! Every time I see those corrupt losers I mean mug them, and they always turn away like the weak cowards that they are. I'd give a hooker more respect than I would those little weasels putting tickets on hard working tax paying people's cars.

I got a parking ticket in a rental car, paid it within 20 days, then received a notice from the rental car company 2 MONTHS LATER that it wasn't paid. Of course the receipt of payment was automatically deleted from my email (older than 30 days) and I called them to get a receipt emailed to me. They called me back - which I missed, and said they could get me a receipt emailed again. I called during business hours and they said they couldn't help me, A DAY AFTER THEY SAID THEY COULD. THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME.

This company seriously needs to be reported to authorities.
