Comfy, cheap and local. The only place I ever want to go see a movie ever again! I love that they turned the balcony into an enclosed second theatre. Steep raked seating upstairs so you're super close. Recent renovations really improved the sound quality too.
Simply can't beat this place. Crazy affordable matinee or Evening first run movies. Fantastic classic theater. Worth traveling to St. Johns just to catch a flick here. "Small" pitchers of beer available. Tasty popcorn. Movie + beer + popcorn still cheaper than a national chain.
This theater reminds me of the small town I grew up in. It's sorta small with two screens, but the workers there are very friendly and the food/beer selection is delicious! My only complaint is the current state of the seating. Most of the seats are old and offer little support for one's back during a 2-3 hour movie. My suggestion is to go early to ensure you find one of the non-broken seats, trust me, it's worth it!
Local place with reasonably priced tickets where you can have a pitcher of beer or some wine and a snack while you watch the show. Sometimes the chairs are a bit lumpy, but the beer makes one forgiving.
Love this place. Great prices. Good sound system ( better than some multiplexes). And reasonably priced snacks including Pizza beer wine and cider.
