Great theater. They have one of the best sound systems in Portland and very affordable prices.
Went to a movie here last night (a Tuesday). 8pm showing. $8. There were six of us in the theater. Everyone was able to spread out for an unobstructed view. The rocking seats are comfortable and have cup holders. The arm rests are starting to show some wear but it doesn't affect the comfort. The air conditioning was perfect for a hot night.
I'm kind of torn giving this theater five stars because it is a best kept secret for the neighborhood. I don't want too many people to find out what a gem this theater is. So shhhhhhhh. Only tell your best friends.
My rule is "If it's not at the Roseway, I'm not going" I am not a big fan of the other Theaters in the Portland area.
Definitely my favorite theater for first run movies. Nice seats, good popcorn, great prices.
