The food here is mediocre. Over the period of a year, the more times we have ordered, I've noticed that the food quality seems to have improved such as the fresh ingredients for Broccoli Beef and Mongolian Beef. I do make way better rice, the crab puffs are meh; however, since it is one of the only places that delivers (besides pizza) in our area and the delivery guys are nice, I am giving Mr. Chen's 3 stars.
Typical Chinese food prices, good quality. They were able and willing to modify a menu item to suit our needs. Nice wall picture to look at.
Ordered through GrubHub around 5:45pm on a Monday, and though my order was almost $70, the service was fast. Our full order arrived steaming hot (and correct!) by 6:30pm. We had the Sesame Beef, House Tofu, Garlic Broccoli, House Fried Rice, Hot and Sour Soup and Fried Potstickers. Everything was really good. I wasn't expecting the beef to be breaded from its description on the menu, but the sauce was delicious. The tofu and soup were probably my favorites. The portions were enough to feed my family of 7. Will definitely order from here again!
Thank you so much for great quality food, kids loved it, and they are so picky. They were so happy and are set on always ordering from Mr. Chens from now on. Not only great food, huge portion sizes very respectful prices. We are a family of 10 and still had left overs....Sovers....SUPER FAST DELIVERY TOO!
