Amazing staff. Less wait times than alot of the ssa offices i have been to over my years.
Honestly, I had a remarkably pleasant experience this morning at the SS office. Got there 15 min early, and once the office opened, was in and out in about 10 minutes' time. The security guards were nice and had some friendly banter going. The gentleman who helped me with my name change was also friendly, positive and helpful. It might go downhill in the afternoon, but if you go in the AM, you'll probably have a pretty good experience!
People in there are very helpful!
They act nice but refuse to give good information and nothing in writing. They could be a whole lot more informative and productive. It has proven to be rather counter productive. You have to wait for a long time for online talks but they are much more helpful.
My wife called Nd I talked to some one and he said he will get back to me. That was the morning of the 27th of Dec and on the morning 29th no one called back ,so I can make an appointment. Thanks
