Well organized, somewhat random but legitimate selection, in an older style, medium sized (deceptively extensive) bookshop. Proprietors worth conversing with. I always find some treasure. If you're really into books, you should be able to find something, and it's a nice place to duck out of the Portland boardwalk, chill out, and meander through stuff.
Very pleased with my visit. I forgot the name of the lady who runs the bookstore but she was very helpful. Lots of older books; some of which are probably rare and collectible.
Made a great discovery today on Hawthorne Boulevard- Hawthorne Boulevard books. He has a great collection of hardbacks and some collectibles. It's a fun bookstore with lots of character. If you love books and on Hawthorne Boulevard it's a must see.
A treasure trove. I try to stop by every time I'm in Portland; it's a great place to find older books. This is such a classic used bookstore, I love it!
A rather chaotic little bookstore filled with older editions. A generous selection of biographies, large sections of US and Pacific Northwest history, as well as some plays, some general fiction, and a smattering of specialty genres. This place is run by friendly people, and the prices are reasonable.
