The location does not match the pictures on various websites. The room we got was upgraded to the executive because of a booking issue that we had which we thought was a plus but some of the furniture was a little outdated and very scratched up and the mattresses were soiled with blood and urine underneath. When we requested a change of sheets they still give us dirty under sheets and forgot some of the mattress toppers. The free continental breakfast is very basic it's just stale bagels and muffins and a few powdered donuts, my 10 year son threw up from them. Though their policy is to avoid very loud of obnoxious noises our neighbors were still very up beat. All the employees we dealt with were very attentive and very nice and social. I would probably blame the upper management or the owners for the lack of attention to standards.

The new remodel is very nice. We loved that the old Cigar Bar is no longer there...the stench used to be awful! We did not try the new place, Lou's, but it smelled wonderful and we will try it next time we're in town, and we're happy that the Steakhouse will be opening up late summer. Our room was great, new plush towels, and a very comfortable King sized bed. The staff was awesome and accommodating.

I visit Lou's Lounge regularly at The Shilo Inn. Every visit has been amazing. The food is amazing and so are the servers and the chef, as well as the prep cook, and the bartenders. The Hotel are also very friendly and helpful.

We had a 4 day stay planned, and 1st night was in a room out back with things missing from the room. We walked the property and noticed the beautiful courtyard with pond and great landscaping. Rooms facing this peaceful scene. We went to the front desk and asked to be moved. They gave us a beautiful room up high overlooking the pool and courtyard. Huge room, with everything you could hope for in a room. Our next 3 days were bliss. Ask questions and tell them what you like. Very nice staff. One night we ordered from the restaurant and it was great and fast service. We will stay again. Try and book well in advance if you can and be sure to call locally with your concerns so they can assist you with personalized help.

Rooms are quaint but in that sense they are of the older variety. Feels like you've stepped back into the 80s. Other than that the rooms are well kept as is the rest of the grounds. Staff is friendly and prompt and there's plenty of parking. Best part: they allow pets!
