Intro -

Summary -

The employees here keep the place clean and organized, and I'm impressed. It may have the environment of a warehouse, but it's a decent one.

Cost -

Basic grocery store, open all night, good prices. No frills at all, some bulk foods (coffee), baked goods.

I can't complain about the service. I usually self-checkout when I'm here, and the supervisor almost always greets me on the way out.

I luv WinCo. I missed it for the last 9 years while I was living out of state. Best place for everything! Welcome home to me lol

Here's the deal, you aren't going to feel like you're in some fancy designed urban grocery store, the whole business model here is to offer all levels of product in a space with nearly zero overhead. Almost any store you go into will look almost identical, you bag your own groceries and they don't take credit cards. You are beginning to see why everything here is so affordable. Don't pay more for the same thing down the street at Alberston's when with a little patience you can save tons on your monthly bills.

Service -

Atmosphere -

Happy savings out there fellow thrifty shoppers!

Merchandise -

I've been going to WinCo now for years. There was one in my college town which is probably the reason I didn't starve those year :P The good news is it's the same pretty much anywhere you go.

According to the company, the name WinCo is a portmanteau of Winning Company; however, the company also claims (as a "fun fact") that it also refers to the five states where the company originally operated stores (Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Oregon)

Plenty of stuff to choose from. It's almost all food with some cleaning supplies thrown in and a few cheap toys.

If you ever need to get groceries from somewhere, be it a few items or an entire list for a family of six, this is a great place to get them.

They have some good deals on food, that is if you can tolerate rude people. The staff is great, the customers are will walk right over you if your not watching out!!!!!

It's kinda weird that I'm giving a 5-star review for a grocery store, but this WinCo has earned it.

This location is easily accessed off I-205 and has it's own stoplight at the entrance to the parking lot so you never have to dart into traffic to come or go. It's clean, generally tidy and looks like a 1970's discount store. You're also paying prices closer to that decade so get over it. I honestly just wish there were more of them and one closer to my house in NE.

Fun fact:

Out of all grocery stores, WinCo's got the best prices you could ask for. Everything is inexpensive and I love it.

I will buy my normal groceries here when I visit every month or so but what it really allows me to do is buy my bulk items for way cheaper! Stock up and then supplement my shopping the rest of the time closer to home.
