Friendly and informative staff. Good selection, and not too expensive considering that it's a small shop. It's a good choice if you want to shop local and not go to the big box stores.
I've been in the store twice and they've never been engaging or helpful. Not quite rude, but close it. Maybe because I'm not a millennial ...my son describes them as "Portland Hipsters". This past weekend they had a sale, looked, but nothing that I needed. I asked if there was anything else, but no, "that's it". They had just offered the prior person sample treats. Oh well.
I love this place for dog and cat supplies from food to toys to the Saturday $5 nail clipping. They have an excellent selection of good quality products at reasonable prices. The staff are ready to help make a choice or just talk pets. They actively support pet adoption. They usually have a cat or two up for adoption. Great place!
Great store, great selection and they are great for puppy and nosework classes with Petlandia- I love this store!
