Very few carts make the jump successfully from cart to standing location restaurant. Lardo definitely exceeds my expectation. One of our favorite spots for lunch, great selection, great sides, and I like that they have a cheap pickle option to add! The only drawback is the seating, arrive early to actually get to sit down, it's usually taken all up.
It was a little expensive. For this entire meal it was $47. But it was very worth it. And they said they will be serving the sandwich that won the 2017 Sandwich Invitational! (They should be serving it by October 2017)
A 5 star restaurant with a 4 star location. I strongly prefer the Hawthorne location because it is far bigger and has a friendlier atmosphere. Food is still delicious but parking is tricky, there aren't many spaces to sit, and it is loud.
Walking the streets of Portland trying to find a great local place to eat. Decided to give Lardo a try and SO glad I did. At the recommendation of the bartender, I had the Pho’rench Dip...really amazing and perfect balance of flavors. Really great little spot.
I came all the way from Seattle and I was not disappointed. Would definitely come again
We got the Pork Meatball Banh Mi and the Bad Hombre (Burger shaped sandwich) and a couple cocktails. We also ordered the Dirty Fries. The food and the drinks were amazing! There was a LOT of cilantro on the Banh Mi, but it was very delicious (warning for cilantro haters). The Bad Hombre was probably my favorite. It had black beans and Guacamole and a delicious chicken patty!
It was almost empty during dinner. And we saw a parking garage right next to the restaurant! There are quite a few parking lots within walking distance though. We were able to eat and get to our concert at the Crystal Ball Room very easily!
